During the XIX century in Milano took place, expecially thanks to Cesare Beccaria, Pietro and Alessandro Verri, the developement of the so called “civil econ-omy”, the crucial discipline of european Enlightenment. In addition, some mathemat-ics, such as M.G. Agnesi, R. Boscovich, P. Frisi and L. Mascheroni, wrote important works spreading the new teories.
