The article examines heritage conservation from an economic viewpointand considers the conditions for its sustainability. Conservation is crucial in any culturalpolicy, and the governmental role is fundamental in its support. However, the articlesuggests a much broader involvement of different stakeholders, both in acknowledgingits relevance and in supporting it.
